CSNews 2017 Realities of the Aisle Consumer Study - Convenience Store News

For the past eight years, Convenience Store News has been taking readers inside the minds of convenience store shoppers with the annual Realities of the Aisle consumer study. This year’s research analyzes the differences between frequent c-store shoppers — those who shop at a convenience store on a daily or weekly basis — and shoppers who visit c-stores less than once a week. Along with making c-store visits part of their regular routine, frequent shoppers are more loyal to particular c-stores.

CSNews 2016 Industry Report - Convenience Store News

In-store sales were up. Gross profits were up. Motor fuel gallons sold were up. But overall revenues were down in what was, once again, a very strong financial performance for the convenience store industry in 2015. Total c-store industry sales declined 14.4 percent last year to $603 billion, due to sharply lower gasoline prices, according to the 41st annual Convenience Store News Industry Report, the longest-running, continuously-published annual report on the health and performance of the convenience retail channel.
